Ultra-High Resolution Seismic (UHRS) / Sub-Bottom Profiling (SBP)

4DWD processing techniques for ultra-high resolution seismic (UHRS) or sub-bottom profiling (SBP) data have been developed to improve the accuracy and resolution of subsurface imaging. One of the most important advancements has been the use of AI-powered pixels clustering technique to improve the waveform inversion algorithms, which provide more accurate and detailed images of the subsurface by using more advanced mathematical techniques to analyze the seismic data. These algorithms make it possible to distinguish between different subsurface structures and to predict subsurface hazards as gas pockets and /or the small-size man-made objects like UXO objects.

4DWD experts have added extra important development by using the integration of UHRS or SBP data with other geophysical data, such as well logs and magnetic data, to produce a more comprehensive and integrated subsurface solutions for the pUXO targets picking or geological imaging. This integration provides a more accurate and detailed understanding of the subsurface and is becoming increasingly important for the exploration and development of Offshore windfarms locations.

The 4DWD sophisticated and advanced computing power, such as parallel processing and cloud computing, has also improved the efficiency and speed of UHRS/SBP data processing, making it possible to process large amounts of data in a relatively short amount of time and high reliability. These advancements in UHRS/SBP data processing techniques are leading to accurate generation to the Subsea 4D Geomodels.
